New York Fashion Week never disappoints and this year was no exception. Glitz, glam and glitter and filled the runways for more designers than one, making that one of the biggest trends to look out for in Fall/Winter 2018.

Here are some of the noteworthy styles and designers we loved the most!
Stop what you’re doing because we’re going to start off with one of our favorite designers of NYFW. Insert: Willfredo Gerardo and bring on glitz, glamour, and ultra-sexy silhouettes. Designing couture gowns has always come naturally to Gerardo, who now resides in Miami, FL - so close to us! There’s something about his designs that captivates an audience and brings you in. It’s one of those moments you don’t want to end. Be on the lookout for Willfredo Gerardo’s name on the celebrity red carpets during award season because we have a feeling he will be taking over.
Candice Cuoco was another show we knew we couldn’t miss because we’ve been following her career since she was a finalist on Project Runway Season 14. There’s nothing we love more than a dramatic performance, which was another reason this show was a must-see for LLScene. Candice premiered her Belladonna Collection with sophisticated darkness, drama and provocation. Basically everything we love in life. Known for her luxury leather womenswear that pushes guidelines and embodies the strength of women, Candice stepped outside the lines with her Belladonna Collection during New York Fashion Week.

Your royal highness will see you now…If you know anything about us you know there is nothing Lindsey loves more than a royal moment. She may or may not believe she was Queen Anne Boleyn in a previous life, but that is here nor there. We digress. Let’s get back to Eva Habashi who premiered her couture collection, “La Rouyate”, aiming to balance the edge of a modern look with the classiness and richness of fabrics.

Inspired by art, Lily Marotto’s clothing and jewelry collections display classic femininity for today’s world. High-fashion pops of pastels, printed skirts, and silk embellishments made up the majority of Lily’s art inspired collection. We love how unique she portrayed her visions by subtle illustrations and hand embroidered silk.
Known for bold statement colors, prints and patterns Charles & Ron launched their new collection sticking to their contemporary lifestyle brand. The high-end clothing clothing line came complete with bags and a distinct Mediterranean twist to style. The Fall/Winter 2018-2019 collection, “Palazzo” explored some the rich and opulent treasures of the Maltese islands. Our favorite look of the collection was the distorted stripe pattern with graphic prints. Fall/Winter 2018 will be all about stripes and mis-matching your style identity with Charles & Ron.
